My journey into understanding consciousness began in my early twenties, when I started experiencing a vibrational state that initially carried fear, yet also revealed something unexpected — I could intentionally engage with it. That discovery sparked a lifelong curiosity about the nature of consciousness and my apparent ability to influence these experiences.
Soon after, I began having experiences in non-physical environments, which fundamentally challenged my assumptions about physical reality. Seeking understanding and balance, I was drawn to the work of the Monroe Institute and Harvard psychiatrist Dr. John Mack. Although their research approached consciousness from very different perspectives, both described phenomena I recognized — particularly the vibrational state and the interaction between human awareness and non-ordinary realities.
Robert Monroe mapped out-of-body states as navigable experiences available to others, while John Mack explored the ways human consciousness may interact with non-human forms of intelligence. Together, their work helped frame questions that continue to guide me: What is consciousness? What is reality? And what do these experiences reveal about human potential and our shared world?
My path led me to serve as an outreach trainer for the Monroe Institute from approximately 1999 to 2003, and later as a community group leader from 2021 to 2022. I earned a degree in psychology from Suffolk University in Massachusetts, learned to intentionally access out-of-body states on occasion, and now serve as a facilitator for The Triad Mind. Throughout this time, I have also lived a grounded, everyday life — as a husband, father, and electrician.
In November of 2022, my wife and my son’s mother passed away unexpectedly. Grief became a central teacher in my life. Rather than turning away, I leaned into the experience with deeper determination to understand consciousness, connection, and continuity beyond physical form. During this period, something unexpected occurred — I reconnected with my wife within non-physical states of awareness.
These experiences have shaped how I hold space for others: not as belief, doctrine, or escape, but as grounded exploration, personal integration, and respectful inquiry into the deeper dimensions of human consciousness.
